Visitor arrival and registration
Visitors can pre-register via weblink or register at the front desk. Visitors can use a smartphone camera, laptop camera or front-desk kiosk to register their face. Visitor groups also can be managed on a single host invite. Once registered, the backend database can setup access rules like timing, entry points, and keep out locations.
Visitor on-premise features
Wi-Fi-guest portal access is a part of the completion of registration, enabling seamless connectivity for visitors. Visitors, contractors or employees to new office locations can be provided with wayfinding services in real-time. This allows the person to locate the meeting rooms, printers, and washrooms effortlessly. Additionally, in case of emergencies visitors can be provided with evacuation guidance via SMS, email or through the captive portal:

Technical Architecture and Highlights
The FRS-based visitor management solution by Shaheen AI relies on the Shaheen Vision, Shaheen Manage and Shaheen Insights modules of the Shaheen AI platform. Below is the network architecture for the vision controller (Shaheen) and the cameras.
The Shaheen is the central intelligence layer that keeps track of all the meta data and actionable components. This is where the entire integration with the door access/badging system occurs, along with the central database of visitor and employee verification. The core architecture of Shaheen is a high scalable approach, allowing it to run on premise, at enterprises, sites or in a cloud environment.

Some of the key highlights of the Shaheen AI platform is around data privacy and storage. The data collected from the various on-premise services, customer facial biometrics, demographics, and behavioral data is merged and consolidated into a unified view. The data is secured against unauthorized access or data breaches using modern security functionality like TLS transport, RBAC functionality, and other capabilities. There is further integration done with existing security functions to ensure full compliance with regulations.
